City Beat – discord text game
February 16, 2021Ivan has just released a new experiment – old school text game that could be played on our DISCORD channel.
What started as just another day at City Beat Magazine turns into the opportunity you’ve been looking for. Tasked by the chief editor of the Scandals Section, you must put your wits and cunning to work to break a story about sex, secrets, and corruption.
Do you have the chops to uncover the truth?
CityBeat: The Sorority Shuffle is an Adult Interactive Fiction game (where you have to type commands to move around and interact with objects and characters) but it’s available as a bot on our discord server now.
To play the game:
- Join our DISCORD CHANNEL here!
- IMPORTANT: Click on “CityBeat [bot]” icon in the members list and send “start” message.
- You can type “help” to get the list of available commands.

I like the game. But I like anything from Kthulu.
But man, even though I’m not bad at playing these kind of games, it’s still not easy. There is no way of knowing if you missed something.
So far I finished with returning the USB stick way too soon. Looking forward to the Steam release.
