Thinking about Serena
August 15, 2025I’ve noticed many of you in the comments expressing a desire for Serena’s return, and I’ll confess—she holds a special place in my heart too. When we first launched Living with Serena, I was thrilled by how stunning her model was. Despite the initial version of the game being light on content, its visuals and emotional depth won a lot of praise. Later expansions brought new characters, scenes, and spicier elements, with Jade adding an extra layer of excitement. What I love most about this game is its intimate vibe—Serena isn’t like Eleanor, who craved everyone, or Tracy, always eager to experiment. Serena was just an ordinary girl deeply in love with her husband, Julian. Sure, she wasn’t flawless, and in some storylines, she might stray due to Julian’s poor choices, but those moments were never her intent from the start.

I know Serena Dark Confessions, the sequel to our beloved game, didn’t win everyone over. While we introduced a host of intriguing new characters, it didn’t resonate as strongly as the original. The main issue was the shifting perspectives—playing as Serena, Julian, Bianca, and others proved confusing and disrupted the immersive experience. That said, many of you appreciated our decision to ditch the stats system and focus on impactful, meaningful choices that shaped the story in a deeper way.

Now, nearly four years after Serena Dark Confessions, I’m excited to share that we’re exploring a new Serena game.
Here’s what we’re thinking:

Upgraded Visuals: We’re ready to enhance Serena’s model, making her even more breathtaking.

Story in Progress: The script is coming along beautifully, and I’m genuinely excited about its direction.

Gameplay Style: We’re leaning toward a visual novel format with Julian as the protagonist.

Omg!! Yes to everything!! 10000 percent agree it should be about julian and serena finding their happiness together..
one thing with dark confessissions.. apart how depressing hidden truths update really brought things with the reveal of serena being essentially held against her will and trafficked… I think a julian cheating path in the new game should be 100 percent off the table… he learned from his mistake.. and risked it all for serena again…
I think some closure of the Eric arc. Even its its just a throw away line he is arrested would be good…. or you julian could pay someone to.. train him to be a nice prison bitch… we need vengeance! Lol
As mentioned serena and julian exploring what serena wants in terms of sex is interesting- serena taking ownership of what she learned at hers. She is not damaged goods she is a survivor. or… does she want to make love again not sex.. or percent answer both… she can be a naughty angel if thats what they want

I’ve got to say I completely disagree that a Julian cheating arc should be off the table, in fact I probably wouldn’t play the game if it were. Cheating (as the main male protagonist) is my main kink in your games and it’s double fun specifically because of Serena’s “innocent” character!
Totally fair- and likely they will have that option as you call out player choce is important in terms of actions. But if they conuntue from second chance or beautiy and brawn- it would weird for julian to take that action but let’s see 🙂
Hell yeah! I’d love to see little cameos here and there from all the other girls (Nicole, Lorena, Melissa, Jade, Bianca, Pollyanna, Fantasy, etc.), but Serena is the main attraction! I have no clue what the plot
will be, but I do hope Serena can catch a break.
I felt like the plot in the Serena sequel was unnecessarily darker than the previous game and it was a weird tonal shift at times. Like you said, Serena’s (and her game’s) appeal came from the fact that she was pretty ordinary overall, yet still captivating in her own way. She had an endearing personality alongside her own unique interests and quirks, all while having that girl-next-door aura. The Eric plotline in the sequel fit the vibes of a game like Eleanor more, in my opinion; that being said, I still had loads of fun with the sequel.
However, I’d love for the new game to have a slice-of-life vibe and have a similar, grounded feeling as the original. It’d be nice for there to be a main story that has conflict without necessarily having tragedy.
Your right – i was slice of life is the right word for it.. serena was the ultimate girl next door.
Also does she still read her smut?? Or noe that she had the Eric horror what’s her reading
I’ve been very vocal about my love of Serena over the years and expounding on potential expansions for her and the crew over on the Discord the entire time so I am ecstatic to see her getting another go-around.
I’m probably in the minority when I say my love for the original game was as much about the actual gameplay design as it was the story and characters. It really had the perfect balance of building up Julian’s stats and money to progress naturally without getting to bogged down in repetition. It made it feel like the scenes were a reward I earned rather than just a CYOA page-flipper. It sounds like you guys are far enough along in development though that that choice has already been made.
I think you’ve also nailed the audience vibe from Dark Confessions, but I will say Bianca/Diesel/Polly were all welcome additions to the cast. I definitely want to keep the focus on our girl Serena but I wouldn’t mind following the thread of Julian/Bianca that was stirred up if you got the lap dance from her.
And I think all of us think Serena could benefit from some laser tattoo removal.
What’s that saying- a man lost in the desert must take water offered regardless of the source?.. as a serena and julian fan who got only 2 sex scenes in the last game 4 years.. ill take the water in the form of a VN. 🙂 having said that our red string and other game show vn can be complex.. completely agree on the tattoo. Why mark perfection?
Hell yea! I have always wanted another game of Serena with Julian as the protagonist. I especially would love to see Lorena, Nicole, and Melissa make a return and have more scenes with them. Especially Lorena lol, she is my second favorite apart from Serena.
I would love to see more content added to Serena like the same content from Justin and Tracy. I wouldn’t mind the wait.
As for the Dark Confessions, the characters were really good, but the story line was not the best in my opinion.
Either way I am really excited to see more of Serena, you guys are awesome!
I agree the first one was great. I tried the second game but it was crowded and I wasn’t sure who I was playing as
Before the DLC for the sequel, my answer would be a big yes. But the DLC ended up being such a disappointment that it had driven me off completely of Serena and whatever came after it.
The lack of Serena cheating in the DLC, the lack of Bianca cheating in the DLC (sadly, in the base version of the sequel, she didn’t enjoy her scene with Eric – which was a turn off) and the lack of Eric in the DLC were all an unexplainable direction decision for me and it turned me off completely from Serena and other games.
I got excited after the Adrianne game, but it wasn’t a popular game so it never got a DLC or a sequel. Recent releases haven’t done it for me. As a long time fan of LOP, I guess it’s finally time to call it quits.

Honestly, I would probably vote for a remake and expansion for the first game, not a new game. The first game premise is good enough and there is surely much more to expand upon. Let’s just pretend the sequel never happened and move on.
The problem with the second game was IMO not the multiple perspectives. At least for me, it was the story direction in general. The character we got was not Serena, it was someone else with the same model. Granted, some of that sure is because of a different writer, but it was overall just bad direction to take that character. We didn’t need the hundredth “girl blackmailed into being a slut” story. Or at the very least we didn’t need a badly written one, and this one sucked. Basically the every decision Serena made before the start of the story was a stupid one and then, all of the ones we got to choose from during the actual game… well those were just as bad. If someone deserved such a treatment, it was Julian, not Serena.
I have faith from this article alone they know what made serena special and they will do her justice.

With a single or just duel view in dark confessissions I think they could of spent more time- with julian and serena and reconnecting and healing.
Serena mentions feeling like she was breathing underwater and watching her self do things- great story telling- disassociation is how our mind protects us from abuse and trauma
Then to have jade go omg.. Eric is a monster but also… tell me sexy stories about your horrible time. Then go back to omg Eric is evil was jarring lol

I’m all for just completely forgetting about the sequel. MC getting caught cheating is not the canon I want established.
Lore is established – as in velvet club jade mentions her sister used to be engaged.. regardless- we should be happy we get serena back after 4 years and hopefully a more fun tone – but from the article that looks the case!
In my opinion the main problem with Serena Dark Confessions was the game had to many stories who are running all at once…We had Bianca and Diesel, a great couple who had their own story. Then we had Fantasy and Dorian…Julian, Jade, and their story. etc…And all of this stories at once lead to intertwinedness with actual main story and that is Serena’s Confession…And due to that It was almost impossible to keep track of story lines because we’re switching characters often trying in some sort of way to catch up with their story and perspective on Serena and their life’s…And because of that other characters life’s and their story they succeed to make Serena’s story less important, and partly lose the track of Serena’s main story.
The game, Serena Dark Confession…was needed to be focused strictly around Serena and her story. Instead, when we played the game, we played with every character in the game And almost all characters there had no background story or history about them, who they are, and what they are doing, and what’s their actual purpose in Serena’s story…they just happened to be there out of blue…
After Serena Dark Confession I thought the game is dead and Serena is gone for good…BUT this NEWS about Serena’s return really cheered me up.
Serena’s have her characters very developed, and unique and she is very hot and irresistible…even today I still play her old flash games where the game still had the spark for player to grind and earn the rewards and desired sex scenes…I would like to see remake of Serena’s old games, of course if you ever decide to make something like that perhaps with certain extensions of story and added extra sex scenes like you guys did with LWT/AS. In any case I’m glad that you guys thinking bringing Serena back in life and that we will enjoy more of her…Cheers to you all
Serena is for sure my second favourite lop product after LWT, so i’d love to see her return! yeah ok the second game had a few issues, but sometimes you have to try new things to see when they dont work. and some of the stuff was still great! for me serena, jade, lorena and mel were all great models and characters. nicole was not for me but i think some people liked her story.
the expo for the first game definitely made it much better! definitely liked the ability to be caught, makes the cheating scenes more fun, and the getting people pregnant thing is sexy too. i always thought it would be cool to have a story where say mel was pregnant and you could choose if the baby was yours or not at the start kinda like the options in lwt2 to change the story for example.
anyway, i think id like a game more in the style of the lwt remake if possible, where it isnt stat farming too bad but it still feels more free rather than being railroaded into a story. if youre gonna keep the multiple perspectives thing maybe limit it to two characters, like serena and julian, so they could catch each other cheating from their perspective or something.
i think a fun mechanic could be a kind of 3 way system where actions with both characters would effect their mood from faithful (jealous) / cheater (guilty) / sharing (adventurous) and depending on the mood of each character would affect their attitude to each other, how they respond and endings. just and idea though. i feel like that was the core dilema of the first game, like whether to stay faithful, cheat, or to share, for both characters.
anyway just my 2 cents, definitely sounds cool though
