ELEANOR on STEAM + more
September 27, 2024ELEANOR IN MIAMI
Today, after many months of rendering, writing and development, we’ve finally released ELEANOR on Steam.
Get it now with a 10% LAUNCH discount.
The game is released in EARLY ACCESS, which means our job is not finished there. We have an ambitious plan to expand it with new content for over a year. CHESTNUT is dedicated to rendering new stuff, DAMAN is dedicated to writing hot stories, and I am dedicated to putting everything together. So ELEANOR won’t get bored in Miami, that’s for sure.
Listen, I would really appreciate it if you could write our game a review on STEAM. That would greatly help us to promote the game and spread the love to ELEANOR.
AMERICAN SUNSET
This week was oriented primarily around LWT development. I was able to push my limits, and basically, most of the coding is done:
- all scenes are coded into the game language (in some spaces, I’m missing images or texts)
- connections between scenes and quest lines are done
- sex scenes and endings gallery is done
Presently, I’m waiting for:
- a missing final Hannah scene, during which she will record a 4some in front of her web camera
- texts for half of the new LISA’S scenes in her bedroom/living room, BUSTED and ENDINGS.
- minor modifications to the new swingers quest line (a couple of images and new lines of text)
After that, there was a lot of testing, balancing and bug fixing. So we’re progressing, and I can’t wait to present it to you later this year.
FREE Steam codes for ELEANOR IN MIAMI:
Please let me know when all keys are used.
UPDATE: All codes are used now.
It seems that none of the codes above is available now.
Thanks
Just started playing Eleanor in Miami, enjoying the game and looking forward to any expansion of it. Can hardly wait for American sunset.
The best way to start your weekend 🙂
I just wanted to say how much I absolutely love Lwt. The stories and characters are amazing especially Tracy and Lisa, and I can’t wait to dive into the next one. I’m really looking forward to playing more and exploring what you have in store for us.
Also, could you please include more scenes with Tracy? She’s such a fantastic character, and I’d love to see more of her storyline where she will eventually cheat and Justin has to accept it and becomes a cuck. And more variations of this in detail where she come back home late night or Justin find her in a club alleyway having sex etc.
Ive always been subscribed to lwt and keep up the great work! You’re creating something truly special, and I can’t wait to see what comes with the full version of American sunset
I second the motion to implement your more cuck story options :).
I’ve just completed Eleanor in Miami on Steam (all endings and scenes) and I felt compelled to make a mini review here, rather than on Steam where it may influence new players.
I’ll begin by acknowledging that despite the fact that LOP describe this game as complete, it is also Early Access and is priced accordingly. I will also acknowledge that the MARINA update will be dropping later this week, which I have not seen yet.
I have been a firm fan of Eleanor since she first crawled underneath Kevin’s desk all those years ago. I have played each of her adventures over and over again ( Eleanor 3 has more than 100 hours of my time). I simply cannot get enough of our sexy housewife’s need for more action behind her husband’s back and have eagerly awaited each instalment. and the multiple year wait for Eleanor in Miami was excruciating, but the day has finally arrived.
The things I liked first. The premise of Eleanor finally convincing Drake to swing is a solid one, even if it is just an excuse for her to sleep with more people without getting in trouble. The new, easier style of gameplay is good, in some respects and makes for a stress free play session. Having a single “main” plotline with Faith and the Journal system ensures that you’re never lost and always know what to do next.
I also really enjoyed the interactions with Christian and Theodore, in particular, mainly because they are both aggressive and powerful men who take what they want, and despite our heroine’s love for her husband, she really desires to be dominated and taken roughly by a man who knows what he’s doing and takes what he wants.
And now the not so good. The game seemed a little… too easy. There was very little that I had to work for. No time limit means that there is no issue with not having the right stats. You can just spam those until you have what you need. Also, this kinda negated the issue of making money, you could just cut hair all day and get what you wanted. and the things you could buy were mostly only available when you need them. That’s not a big deal, really, but still..
I did find the side stories other than Faith’s to be somewhat lacklustre. Grace’s storyline really just lead to a retold sex scene between Grace and guy we’ve never seen before or since (and don’t get me started on Ian, that hair, that vest, a scarf and THAT FACE…). Bogdan’s storyline did have a couple of good scenes, but it could have been so much more. This also applies to his Serbian partner-in-crime, Senka. Her modelling storyline was interesting, but did not go far enough and was a missed opportunity in the end. Will should have had a better run, but really, his interactions were limited to a single scene after the initial terrific start, Bella really only comes into play later on and doing her storyline doesn’t really get you much, and Cali didn’t really grab be at all. and Ben… BEN of all people, is criminally underused.
The one character that does get a boost is Drake, with at least a third of all the scenes listed in the game either including him or even with him and without Eleanor. This is new and good for him, i guess.
I have found that the graphics of Eleanor in Miami seem to be a downgrade from E3. The clothes have no texture, or weird texture as well as lacking details that help define their shape. Look at the picture of Faith on this page, with the green dress. The top has no defined seams and appears to conform completely to her body, making it look like its pained on, rather than worn. It has no texture and is just… green. (also, whats going on at the back there? is she wearing a bustle, cause I’ve seen her ass, it isn’t that big).
The skin textures seem to be off too. everyone is shiny and wet looking. have a look at Faith’s ass in her scene with Drake and tell me if that looks like natural skin or not. Having said that, there are occasions where I am blown away, like the light glittering off Eleanor’s stockings in the VIP room. Simply stunning. But overall, I think the graphics, which are apparently the reason why the game took so long to develop, are just not up to par, really. Also, because of the way the scenes are rendered, quite often the “good parts” are covered by the text. Also, some of the framing selections for the touted “second angle” were quite uninspiring, hiding the things we want to see, even though we’d just spent 4 dialogue screens wating it in the “first angle”.
The logic in the game quite often left me scratching my head with confusion. Think when Grace was retelling the story of her date about who came first of did what to whom, the story changed 5 times and each time, it was wrong, unironically. and speaking of Grace, apparently her father, a RETIRED DECTIVE decided to put on a beat cop’s uniform and IN HIS OFF DUTY TIME wander around the seedy side of town, looking for crime. There are many more examples of where things just didn’t make sense (faith having her hands handcuffed above her head and the next scene, she’s handcuffed behind her back, etc), but you get the idea.
I said earlier that the Theodore storyline in particular was a favourite of mine. Having said that, i am still a bit disappointed in it. It started great and I was very excited to see more of Theodore, but his visit to drakes office was a bit pedestrian (even though I thought the fact that Drake was on the other side of the door very stimulating) and the corruption of the cop seemed very short and very boringly rendered (i think with more care and more time, I would have really liked it), but the main disappointment has to do with the ending. I believe that as Théodore’s ending is the canon ending as its the only one with a scene attached and it would mirror the fact that the “Master” ending of E3 is canon now after Eleanor in Miami confirmed it, that it would have been longer and more involved. I replayed E3 today to redo the “Master” ending, and that ending was at least 8x longer with multiple scenes, branching pathways and at least ways to end up as the “Master’s” sex slave. I know that there will be more content coming, but this, of all the things that i’d like to see fixed, is it.
At least it would be, if not for the major problem that I found. The language that is used in this game is fundamentally broken. I understand that the developers of this game are not native English speakers and therefore should always run the script past a native English speaker to check for errors. But if a native English speaker signed off on this.. You should get your money back, cause this is quite frankly the worst translation into English I have ever seen. Typo’s i can forgive. Spelling mistakes? Nobodies perfect (although Christian was referred to as Christina several times and even Eleanor had her name spelled Elenor at least once), but syntax errors, grammar errors (the developers have no idea how a semi-colon works, but use then all the time), split infinitives, repetition, redundant phrasing.. and speaking of phrases… oh my God, the errors in phrases, metaphors, sayings, idioms, etc. Almost all of them wrong, misquoted or mispronounced. And almost all of them use real words, just not the right words, so simply using a spell check will do nothing to fix this. This is an issue that if you dont have a good, functional familiaritry with English, you may not catch, but I struggle to understand how this game got released with this level of errors throught the script. If I were to guess, I would say that there is , on average, an error every three lines, at least. This has made this fantastic franchise seem cheap and thrown together more than any other issues that I can think of. This, after 3 years of waiting…
I firmly believe that the LOP team should cease work on any other DLC or content until they can fix these language errors. It’s that bad! Get it fixed either by doing yourselves, getting a real English speaker on Fiverr or something, or reach out to the community for help, but this level of polish is simply not acceptable.
And this leads me at last to the DLC. This criticism of mine, as constructive as i would have liked it to be, can be mainly addressed in the DLC. I have no idea of the plans and how much DLC is coming and where this will all lead to, but history has shown that the DLC has tended to drop when it is not paid DLC. This is fine for those on LOPGold, but now that I am a Steam player, I do worry.
But I think there are some seeds within the game that may be brought to fruition. I agree with some other reviews that I have seen in the comments of this blog that many didn’t find the game kinky enough, that they wanted Eleanor to really become the slut we love and I know that they have been told that the kink is coming, but I think that given that Eleanor loves to be dominated by a powerful, dominant man she can call Sir or Master and that not only did Drake love watching his wife get banged in front of him, he also admitted that even though his wife was another man’s sex slave, who made her do whatever perverted act he wanted and also metered out both punishment and pleasure at his leisure, as long as she enjoyed her, he was fine with it, that the team should have some excellent avenues they can explore.
And before anyone decides that it would be humorous to point out I made 2 spelling mistakes in that post, like I said, no-ones perfect… :)_
Agent Orange, thanks for the long and comprehensive review. I promise to look at each of the points you pointed out that need improvement, and we will draw conclusions for the future.
So in short, in the upcoming additions we will present more hardcore content that players expect. It will be happening a lot and spicy, just the way Eleanor likes it.
On language issues – you are right. We have already set new standards for language control when creating content for the add-ons, and we are introducing additional solutions to improve this aspect. As for the revision of the entire texts for the game – after your comment I am considering such an action, however, it will require a lot of time, so please arm yourself with patience.
Once again, thanks for your time – it means a lot to me.
Thank you @leonizer, for your response here. I am pleased to hear that you are attempting to improve on the errors in the upcoming DLC and I fully appreciate and agree with the fact that fixing the existing errors is a massive job. I’m prepared to be patient, as you suggest, as I have already finished the “base” game. My concern is for new players who have no relationship with the franchise. These players are likely to be put off by, what could be described as a lack of care on behalf of the production team. I really want this game to be a massive success and spawn sequel after sequel. I truly fear that this dip in quality control is indicative of what is to come.
I’m about to play the new content, MARINA’S SECRET and I have high hopes for it. Here’s to some more exciting adventures with the sexiest housewive ever.
