LWT2 first renders

Today is the day – YamYoda is working hard over LWT2 and right now we’re ready to present you some first actual renders from the game.
We’ll update you with more visuals next month.
In terms of Eleanor 2 – Chestnut is ready to start rendering at the end of next week – as soon as we get first characters from it we’ll present them to you.
I’m really excited about those 2 huge projects – the most impressive creations we got a pleasure to develop.

Looks great, love the quality do pass on my praise to Yamyoda. But I must ask what is going on in the third one? It looks like Tracy’s arm is fused into Justin’s calf. Looking at it more closely, based on the muscle definition and colour I’d say that was Justin’s arm bent upwards.
If you’re talking about game_lwt2_003 please take a closer look – Tracy’s arm (facing up) is behind Justin’s leg and those objects are not colliding – everything is legit here.

Hints on the story for those who don’t look around the blog, put this almost a month before:
“There is almost no stat building (none at all really, but it’s possible to interpret one aspect as stat building). The story takes place on a vacation in France, and the player simply play through a whole series of scenes running from the plane ride to France, through to leaving. There is some exploration, but mostly it is about making choices in each scene that influence what options are available in subsequent scenes. the one stat-building aspect is that you are visiting your super-rich, competitive-asshole cousin who is trying to seduce both Tracy and Lisa, and you have to make choices that keep you looking like the better man, in front of Tracy especially, but also in front of Lisa if you care about that, and in front of his wife, staff, and a sexy young visitor, if you want to reap the rewards of being the most desirable man in the house.”

That can turn out really really bad.
I agree. Exploration and roaming was part of why LwT was such a great game to me. It seems like the sequel will be more of a visual novel, which, for me, would be a step in the wrong direction. Personally, I think a visual novel-style game does not give the sense of immersion that a free-exploration game gives, and leaves the player as a very passive by-stander rather than an active participant. I’m also not to keen on the fact that there seems to be more girls available than Lisa and Tracy, and I hope focus stays on those two. Still, I’m eagerly awaiting this release and remain positive 🙂

i’ll wait to see how its implemented done right a “visual novel” like route can be very good, look at Tell Tale’s Walking Dead and Game of Thrones game as an example of how it can be done.

Sorry, but nope. They used the very same models from the first LwT for both Tracy and Lisa, mainly because most people expressed dislike for the new V6 models. It is, quite literally, the very same Tracy that was in the first LWT. She didn’t used to be curvier or bustier, she has always looked like this.

That’s a matter of personal perspective, isn’t it. You don’t find them appealing, but most others seem to do. The majority on the old google blog voiced the opinion that they wanted these models.
I actually liked the new V6 model LoP made for Tracy (wasn’t too keen on the V6 Lisa though). But LoP made the decision to keep these models, based on fan response, which said that they found the original models the most appealing.
I’m in the same boat Nemo, the only issue I had with the V6 models was Lisa’s hair style, if they’d changed that then would of be fine for me.
Not overly impressed by the visuals of the two main models either.
They’re exactly the same as the first LWT, after the big fuss about the new V6 models they went back to the original V4 models.
Are you guys are also planing on making a 3d game on LWT and ELE. I was hoping that it would be super awesome.

LW2 seems to be concentrated on visuals rather than game playing. Looks game will be much easier to play but also will have more routes to get ending. Besides Tracy and Lisa there will be two more females. One is Justin’s cousin five and other is girl who is guest at the villa. Playing as Justin and making various decisions and taking paths through the game it will probably lead to several endings. Staying totally faithful to Tracy, cheating on her with Lisa, staying with Tracy but including Lisa into threesome, or be wild and cheat Tracy with any female around (Lisa, cousin’s wife and the girl guest). But at the same time Justin cousin will hit on Tracy and Lisa also so Justin can loose them. Remember who have the villa in France.
Let’s hope it will not be just series of clicking on options on the screen but the game will also have some difficulties which will need to be solved and strategy to develop.
As for those who complain about Tracy and Lisa looks they look the same as in first part.
Comparing new images with old ones with V6 models (airplane and bedroom scene) Tracy and Lisa have different clothes.

However, I hope there isn’t too much focus on the visuals. Storyline and gameplay are much more important. I am sure many of us love LWT and Eleanor because of the wonderful story line and not because of the visual. If visuals are what we are looking for, the real thing would be much better.
Both LWT and Eleanor have elements of being faithful/unfaithful and playing on wild fantasies which attracts many of the fans here. I am sure many here love what the 1st 4th and 6th visuals imply. Hope you do not deviate away from these elements in both the expansions.

From what we know about LWT2’s story, the whole cheating/fidelity part from the first game is even more central in LWT2 since this time Justin isn’t the only guy around, his cousin’s trying to seduce Tracey and Lisa to.

Just wondering if you guys ever thought of making a game called ‘Working with Temptation’ where it’s the original LwT game, but through Tracy’s eyes and there’s the opportunity to seduce a workmate (or maybe more than one workmate). I just thought it was a pretty good idea.

One thing i hope is in this one is a bit more diversity in the sexual partners. My only real complaint about this series so far (and most of LOP games really) is it’s all about Vanilla
If by “vanilla” you mean skin color, then I’m inclined to agree. I love the look of most LOP girls, free games or premium (Tracy, Lisa, Eleanor and Didi being my favourites), but it would be nice to see some black or asian girls. I can only recall the girl from CoL as being of color, and personality-wise, she was very boring and forgettable.
Also, in spite of being a white dude, I wouldn’t mind seeing a game where the main character was, for example, black.

Most probably no. No Sandy either.
From what we learned so far the characters will be Justin,
Tracy, Lisa, Justin’s cousin and his wife and the girl who is guest at the villa.
LWT2 takes place on a vacation so story wise would take some work to explain Derek (Lisa’s old boyfriend) and Sandy’s presence.
Also judging from the photo showing the V6 models which included Justin and Tracey’s kid Charlie this game takes place a few years after the original (Charlie was a baby in the first game but looked like a Toddler or a little older in the photo) It’s entirely possible Lisa lost touch with Derek and Sandy when she went back to Canada depending on the backstory of how Lisa came back.
Though I suppose there could be a small chance that the “guest” at the villa is Sandy but I’m doubtful about that.

However whats the next release?
My guess would be pretty soon based on Leo’s previous comments about artists shortly switching over to ELE2 and LWT2. That indicates to me they finished/almost finished their current project and just needs bug testing before release.
Just to be clear that’s a guess mind, nothing concrete till we hear from Leo or one of the other Lop folks.
What about Sandy? She will be in LWT2? It would be very interesting to see individual ending with her;)

Does anyone know what kind of software is being used to actualy create the game? I don’t mean the rendering software but for greating the game mechanics. I’ve been trying to create a murder mysterie myself and have a few renderes ready but now I need something to create the actual game….
The mechanics are made using variables, I think the LOP team use the PHP language but I am not certain.
I personally use HTML and JavaScript.

Ok I get that a lot of us dont have patience and thats ok but we do need to remember two things please: First thing is that , yes they did say an earlier release than current but you got to realize that that was prior to the onslaught of comments that the previous renders were bad and that they should go back to the drawing board in short a lot of you were to blame for the change of release the first time around. Since that happened Leo made only one other comment bout the release dates for such games and incase it was forgotten here is the reminder:
Release date – it’s still hard to predict cause those projects are huge. Number of required renders and the complexity of scenes is really excessive. I can tell you that we’ll try to release both of this projects this year. Probably ELE2 will go first but I can’t guarantee that at this stage.
So the lesson in this comment is easy: for those of you that want it fast and in the same breath have overwhelming objections to how the game may look, remember that if you do make suggestions it may end up taking longer so keep that fact in mind as well. For those of us that have the patience and enjoy the updates I thank you all as well for maintaining such patience indeed. Busy as they are and as complex as the games may be they are all doing an amazing job and are doing what they can to tie us over till set releases.
Sorry for the crazy rant but its been on my mind way too long lol. Keep up the great work developers and know that there are a lot of us that appreciate the dedication you have.

Leonizer, luckily, listens to the fans’ response on news and they made changes to Tracy and Lisa because that’s what the majority of fans wanted. Of course, those changes are going to delay release. I doubt we’ll see LwT 2 and Eleanor 2 before december. Leonizer also said that they’ll probably release Romancing the Throne and the expansion to CoL before LwT2 and Eleanor 2.
I understand that people want these games now. But projects like these take time and if those who are craving this game and constantly asking about release dates would read the blog thoroughly, they would see that an approximate release date has already been given. And then, maybe they should go outside and get some sun 🙂

Didn’t you admit in the 13 Rooms post that you pirate the games and now you are complaining about waiting for a new game? Leo keeps everyone up to date and it takes time to create these games, if he does not release and information in till it is 99% complete then LOP customers will have no idea what they are getting.

I had afterthoughts on my first post. In relation to storylines and endings that I kind of hope to see rather than expect and that is for different pregnancy endings.
Lisa obviously getting pricked and maybe a surprise from left field from Sandy oh and Tracy cuckolding our PC with Derek is another.
The other ending I kind of hope to see is our PC scarpering with Lisa.
It is the storylines and a variety of endings both good and bad that makes any game for me. I like to play them all out if I can.

Hello again, seems as though a lot of you lack both patience and imagination. For those that want it quick can you please stop rushing ideas past them and let them finish what they had started and who knows perhaps like many of the other games they can place your suggestions in an expansion as they did for Elenor and so many of the others. So please wait till games released and if it is really that crucial and the game underwhelms you so little you need to throw your ideas at them than by all means but once again please keep your ideaqs to yourself till the game has been released. Yes I know I am sounding like a broken record but seems many of you prefer to post rather than read previous posts others have placed. Am sure least one of the many will be released within the year but more pestering and idea pushing that goes on the longer it may take them, just a little refresher for those that didnt read my previous post (Obviously)
