By that time, there were like 12 comments here. Around 3 about Eleanor 2, 2 about Roommates, and 7 questioning about LwT2.
My intetion was to try to get the focus back on Eleanor 2.
In all honesty, I don’t agree about people asking about LwT 2 all the time. I see your point about people being justified for that, but after the poor reaction Eleanor 2 received (remember that a couple of months ago, not just LwT 2 was being asked for, but also Eleanor 2 was hugely antecipated), people should be more patient about it.
I’d rather wait and see a really great game that we all hope they’ll be able to deliver, than see LwT 2 released next month just to see another disappointment like Eleanor 2.

Well, whether LwT2 will be a success or disappointment is sort of already settled. The story and dialogue is done, as well as all the renders. By now, there’s just the coding and beta-testing to be done… and a few glitches isn’t going to make or break the game. At this point “waiting to see a really good game rather than see it released next month” is no longer a thing… all the variables that’ll determine the games quality are already over and done. They’ll take their sweet time with the coding and beta-testing (as well they should), but that’s all that’s left.
But I understand where you’re coming from. I can’t wait for the game to come out… not because I’m eager to play it (well, that’s part of the reason), but because people will FINALLY stop asking about it.
…of course, if the game is shite… people will start asking about LwT3 almost immediately…
If full focus is on LWT2 the game should be released before September. Renderings are almost complete, based on a post a few months ago.

@loprock… Eleanor would have to give her number to James in the restaurant’s bathroom and will surely get the first and third. Now for nightmare returns you probably have to choose payback Kevin when Mario’s men knocked him in the alley for trying to molest Eleanor. Later when one time Mario would send Eleanor to Kevin as he was causing Mario some trouble and demanded for Eleanor. So nightmare returns is just like bikini conspiracy you would just have to visit the strip club regularly at the ending days of the game

Played the new update and my response is a resounding: …meh…
For me, Eleanor 2 did not have the best start. I can’t remember my exact review of the vanilla game. But I seem to remember focusing a lot on the fact that the story was a rehash/remake of the first games’ storyline rather than an actual sequel, the characters were cardboard cutout archetypes of characters from the last game, the stat-system was an over-complicated mess (and I am a HUGE fan of stat-building games) and the dialogue was kind of uninspiring… nice renders though (even if 60% of them were zoomed in far too close or cropped so that the characters where barely in there and 3/4 of the shot was just empty background)
I had hoped that the updates would breathe some life into the game…. Well, all of them (with the exception of Night out with Samantha) feels like half-baked afterthoughts shoved into the game at random abandon. The dialogue is stilted and clumsy (especially in That’s My Son) and all three of the new events are really short and sudden.
That’s my son: meet Samantha, convince her of a threesome BOOM! they just happen to run into one of James old schoolmates… even though they’re not in the city where James grew up and went to school or where Samantha currently lives. Quick 2 render sex scene with no alternate positions and no cumshot.
Pushing the limits…: invite Amelia out, BOOM! after a few drinks she’s ready to fuck Eleanor in a public place despite them not liking each other… 2 render sex scene.
Strip Night with Drake: invite Drake out, get stripper BOOM! Drake is ready for a threesome in a public place with zero convincing (this is fairly excusable due to some of the events you COULD potentially do in the first game). 2 render sex scene, no cumshot…. I am sensing a pattern here.
I don’t know if this will be the last update to Eleanor 2 or not… But I kind of hope it is. People on here are already talking about Eleanor 3… I wouldn’t mind if that never happened. I love the Eleanor character; her looks, her sass and her venomous mind… But it seems like she has run out of gasoline and I think she needs a (permanent?) rest.
IF a 3rd game was to happen. Then I like the proposed idea of a prequel set in Eleanor’s college days… IF people won’t bitch and moan about changes made to her model to make her look younger (having her look like a 30-something woman running around campus would just be sad).
Good review, I agree with most of the points here. I hope they start adding in some decent perspective angles with emphasis on penetration for sex scenes instead of these bland/vanilla side-views or front-shots where you can’t see anything, for future games. That was probably the biggest turn off for me including most of the stuff you listed here.

But seeing the action properly would be better… LwT, LwS and the O.G. Eleanor are pretty good examples of how to do it properly (especially with the options of choosing where to cum).
I feel like the LOP team made huge a step back in their poor choice of angles in the sex scenes and the lack of emphasis in penetrations.
Their free games from their very beggining were like that (Passion Hotel, I Love Laura, Highschool Romance, Jordan 500, Dirty Pictures, etc.).
I really can’t understand the lack of empashis on penetrations in a SEX game.
Yeah, that one has me baffled as well. Especially since older games did it perfectly. Looking at classical games, both free and premium, had really good (and several) angles, alternating between far shots and close-ups.
In Eleanor 2, not only are the angles very restrictive, the renders are zoomed in so much that big parts of the models are cropped from the picture and the they are often waaaay out to the side of the frame, leaving a lot of “dead space” in the frame.
Absolutely a step down from previous work.

I had some (not high) hopes for Ele2 as it had been announced in the past. My first impression of Ele2 is the same you wrote down.
As a stat-builder-fan, I was dissapointed because Seducing the Throne lived up thart hope I got for Ele2. Like in Ele1 I had the option to be faithful or slutty but the relation build-up was better. Ele2 had this too but it just “slut him or not”.
Besides the fact that other character are cardboard cutouts (finally, I´ve looked for that word for stereotypical archetypes) the visual presentation was… well they were all ugly.
Drake looked scary, the Mafia Boss (sorry forgot names bcs game left no impression on me) looked disgusting and this photograph guy raised my desire to chisel and form his chin new. The ladies were rendered barbie dolls – very unnatural and disproportional.
The first update didnt made it any better.
Simply summarized those episodes are just cutscenes where I was asked “Do you want to play the sexscene? Yes? no?”
No context to the story or character releations.
This led to my decision not to sub for the second update.
Another sequel of Eleanor shouldnt be released.
My guess, the upcoming wish for Ele3 is just a hidden response about their dissapointment. Let her come back as guest character for other games if you want. You should do this for other characters too.

I’ve said earlier that the visuals are gorgeous and I stand by that (I found the backgrounds especially well-done… which is something I usually wouldn’t pay any attention to). But you are right about the character design and appearance. Only 1 of the male characters appeared visually appealing to me and all the girls (with the exception of Eleanor) looked like… well, you said it… dolls. Especially Celeste. Oddly enough, I found Samantha the most visually pleasing… which is strange, as cliched, big-titted blond MILF’s really aren’t my thing.
I think you hit the mark on the establishing of relationships in El 2 pretty well. The sense of tension and slow build-up that was present in El 1 now just seems… rushed. And the game pretty much takes for granted that you’ll go the slut route… there are very few perks to being a faithful wife, with limited sex options compared to the slut route.
Having Eleanor as a minor guest character in another game is, to me, preferable to a third game with her as a main character.

Eleanor selling ice cream, Eleanor bar showing shaved pussy , Eleanor Samuel leads to strip bar , El handing out leaflets , rape in the park , ( dreams or not ) . It put Amelia and Samantha ( As an alternative event on the boat ) . Pickup E on the beach . Look to the neighbors to visit . Give Drake freestyle at the bar . Does ( Amanda ) You can also provide an alternative developments with Samael or Tony .

when you first meet sam on day 14 and have dinner with her and james it will give you the option to sit next to him or opposite him, choose to sit opposite him then when he goes to the bathroom follow him in. At the end of the scene eleanor will give james her number. I think sam calls eleanor at around midnight in your bedroom on day 24, if you pick the strip club option when she does she will confront you at around 10am on day 27, pick the seduce option when she does. i hope that helps
I am not that hyped about an Ele prequel, I’d rather prefer a brand new Ele game.
A new Ele maybe, starting a new life without Drake or, way better, a game for both Ele and Sammy.

i definitely think that you could apply some of the views from there in your games,for example more static images,whether during conversations or sex scenes,it would definitely improve your games even more simply because graphically your games are best by far
I’m aware of that – we’re currently developing one game with static images instead of animations. If your response will be good, we’ll continue to follow this approach.

Have you guys considered a more regular schedule for the handling of this blog? Perhaps one short post every Tuesday or whatever just to let us know what’s going on and how everything is progressing? I feel this would help to alleviate a lot of the frustrations that seem to be filling all the comment sections.

About Eleanor 2, I don’t think it will necessary to make any new updates since the two high potential parts of the update, bikini conspiracy and nightmare returns, are extended with proper animations, camera angels, ability to control or hold from cumming first, etc (with focus on her penetration as well as her expression) and replaced with the older one then Eleanor 2 will be A class (as it should be)

Okay, I´ve played this one quite a lot lately (only coz I bruised my ribs and off work) and I have to say it exceeds all my expectations.
The achievements aren´t handed to you on a plate and require a bit of work and though, which make it worth playing.
The different game paths are worth the effort, but don´t forget to save just in case you mess up !!!
If you ever make an expansion, I think Samantha´s wilder side would definitely be worth exploring, just a thought, not a criticism !!!
If there is one small point which lets the game down, it´s the endings: There is no definition to any of them except with Celeste. Perhaps different paths in much the same way that STT is influenced by your final choices !!
