HOROS after CMX*November 25, 2022
Soon I’m going to complete the development of CURT MADDOX. I’m super excited about this game, and during the beta tests, I realized it has really unique gameplay and atmosphere, which I really adore. You all gonna love it! No grinding but still engaging, requiring some thinking and tactics. Choices matter here, and it may take you some time to achieve everything in this game, but of course – it will be worth it. Thanks to RENPY, it won’t be a mundane process – we have unlimited save slots and the possibility to roll back your actions and take critical choices again (without the need to reload the previously saved game state).
The game is tested and works great – right now, I’m optimizing it for the WEB version that you’ll be able to play in your browsers. I should release it the 1st or 2nd week of December. On the day of release, we’ll inform you about further plans for this title – more content is coming.
I’ve learned a lot about RENPY during the CMX development process and right now, I’m fully confident that I’ll be able to create HOROS in the engine. This is going to be epic cause the amount of content is just breathtaking and we got an appetite for much much more.
Call me a huge RPG fan – when I was younger (and got time for myself) I spent a lot of time playing Warhammer, Call of Cthulhu, Cyberpunk, and other RPG systems. So the possibility of working with an RPG game, even with as simple mechanics as we want to implement, puts a huge smile on my face. On the other hand, I’m aware we’re developing an erotic game in the first place and I can promise you that all combat aspects will only add depth to the game and won’t dominate the experience. Probably we’ll develop a small demo of this combat system and ask for your feedback.
The variety of everything is breathtaking – fighting skeletons in the forest, seducing deadly necromancers, trying to gather memories about your past, picking up herbs in the forest, swinging with the nobles, sleeping with the cult leader, slaying dragons in the mountains – and much much more.
* In terms of the road map, just after the completion of CMX I’ll start to work with HOROS but when I receive the complete set of texts and renders for LWT, I’ll switch to that project – I have a clear picture that it’s our the most anticipated title right now.
